Alix Golay

My professional practice focuses mainly on portraiture, with a secondary emphasis on complete light control with studio object photography. Coming from a creative Waldorf school education, I completed my CFC in photography at the Centre d'Enseignement Professionnel de Vevey in 2024 and am currently pursuing more artistically-oriented studies in higher education in visual communication, with a specialization in

photography. During these studies, I took part in numerous workshops with internationally renowned artists (R. Riedler, L. Abril, V. Levrat, B. Depoorter, A. Cepeda, S. Couzinet-Jacques, L. Chaplin, R. Petersen, A. Golaz, F. Rothenberger, E. Brotherus, A. Vaz, Y. Gross, G. Goiris, P. Piguet). My artistic work reflects a particular sensitivity to Western social mores, the psyche and the links between humans and their environment. I explore this last theme in my first project, En quête de symbiose, which invites us to gentleness, contemplation and

reconnection with nature, by illustrating the experience of naked people in a natural space free of any cultural markers. My working values are caring, tenacity, listening and goodwill.
