Mark Gross

Becoming a nature photographer has always been his dream, which is why he first studied biology – after all, in-depth knowledge of the photographed subject has always been the first step to better and more profound pictures. His biology studies were followed by a training in post-production which led to many years as a picture editor in an advertising agency until his step into self-employment followed. Mark now owns his own studio in Stuttgart-Vaihingen.

He gives individual trainings and also teaches in schools where he introduces the topics of photography or image editing to prospective media designers.

Photography not as a profession, but as a vocation. Today, nature photography is something he is mostly devoted to privately, both above and below water, but he is also very versatile on land.
