<h4>A full-day excursion to the most photographic places close to you</h4>Beautiful landscapes are all around us in Switzerland – they are a joy to experience, but a challenge to capture in a single photo. In our new Landscape Photography day-trip format, you’ll learn the essential tools and techniques for taking photographs that reflect the splendor of landscapes and the captivating details of nature during a full day with our professional instructors.Each trip will start at the designated meeting place on location. After a short introduction to composition, planning and camera technique, the instructor will take you to the best locations in the area and show you many different techniques and tips during the day. We will hike through mesmerising landscapes, visit mirror-like mountain lakes and find compositions during daytime and sunset.Expect to improve the way you think about, take and process your photographs during your adventures as well as learning how to plan your itinerary to make the best shots. All while you discover the best places in our beautiful country.Recommended to all levels of&nbsp;photographers who have learned the basics of their cameras and settings&nbsp;and would like to spend a full day in a beautiful location, to come back with great photos and improve their understanding of landscape and travel photography.No camera? Day Trip: Lugano – City, Village &amp; Rhododendrons blooming 10:30 – Meeting at the Lugano train station 11.00 - City Walk to the Lugano ParadisoWe start in the beautiful lakeside city of Lugano. We’ll take a relaxed walk along the lakeside promenade, historic streets, and city squares. The walk is easy, and no special skills are needed. This is a great opportunity to capture the city, the lake, and the mountains surrounding the town.&nbsp; 11.30 Optional visit to the cafe. 12:00 – Monte San Salvatore by FunicularAt 12:00, we take the funicular up Monte San Salvatore. From the top, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of Lake Lugano and the surrounding mountains. This is a perfect spot for wide shots, panoramic images, and framing the city from above. The paths at the summit are gentle and easy to walk.&nbsp; 13.00 We go walking on the path to Carona village, it's&nbsp;an easy 4 km walk, near 1-1,5 hours. 14:30 – Historic Village of CaronaWe visit the charming village of Carona. Carona dates back to the medieval period and was historically a farming and trading village. Its narrow stone streets, ancient churches, and traditional stone houses give a glimpse into its past. One of the highlights is the Church of San Giorgio, built in the 15th century, with frescoes and historical details preserved over centuries. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to photograph textures, details, and the village atmosphere. It was an artist village, Hermann Hesse admired its calm. Meret Oppenheim lived in the so-called “parrot house,” Casa Constanza, a gathering place for artists. The fountain in the square, designed by Oppenheim, evokes the spirit of that creative era. 15:30 – Parco San Grato &amp; Rhododendron BloomingAt 15:30, we will walk to the Parco San Grato, famous for its rhododendrons and azaleas. The park has gentle, easy paths and is ideal for exploring with your camera. The rhododendrons usually bloom in May. There will still be plenty of colourful flowers and beautiful views over the lake. 18:30 – End of Excursion &amp; ReturnThe day ends at 18:30. You’ll have time for final photos, enjoy the scenery, and make your way back relaxed and inspired. You could take the bus from Corona village back to Lugano train station. What to bring:<ul><li>your camera</li><li>charged batteries</li><li>a tripod (optional, but would be helpful)</li><li>Polarising and ND filters (if you have them, optional)</li><li>Tea and snacks</li><li>Something for lunch</li><li>Comfortable shoes, a hat, and&nbsp;sun cream.</li></ul> All walks are easy and suitable for everyone. No special equipment —just bring your camera, comfortable shoes, and enjoy the day!
