Lothar Zeitler is a passionate career changer who combines his passion for images with technical expertise. Starting out with Polaroid cameras, he now works with modern drone photography and Sony DSLR systems – always on the lookout for creative perspectives and innovative methods. As a practitioner with a focus on open-source software (OSS) and AI tools, he uses his knowledge to optimise photographic workflows and enable others to get started with cost-effective, professional image editing. His workshops combine technical understanding with practical application and show how to achieve high-quality results with free tools such as GIMP and darktable. With his experience as a trainer and IT expert, he conveys complex content in an understandable and motivating way.
