

Thailand Photography Tour
Join this photography trip to the north of Thailand: Immerse yourself in the "Land of smiles", witness one of the most beautiful festivals in the world, visit temples, rice fields and waterfalls and enjoy plenty of photographic opportunities.
This trip covers:
- Loy Krathong in Chiang Mai, a magnificent festival of lights and lanterns.
- Urban landscape at night in the incredible megalopolis of Bangkok.
- Meeting with the locals and traditional tribes (Long-neck) of northern Thailand.
- Temple in Doi Inthanon National Park
- White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) in Chiang Rai

Location
Where do we go?
Thailand is a joyful and warm country in Southeast Asia. We will have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in this culture by heading to Chiang Mai, in the north of the country, to photograph beautiful temples, to meet local tribes, and especially to experience the famous Loy Krathong festival where everyone will be able to release one or several lanterns and capture these magical moments.
Doi Inthanon National Park has the highest peak in the country (2565m!). In its heart, an amazing temple is sublimated by this high altitude environment. Besides the temple, the park has beautiful waterfalls and other photographic opportunities.
The "White Temple" (Wat Rong Khun) in Chiang Rai, in the very north of the country, is a nugget to photograph.
This trip would not be complete without spending time at the capital, to take street photos in the markets and city photos at night by perching on the roof of a building.
In November, the weather is usually nice and warm, the rainy season having ended a few months ago.
And yes, we do not need to mention the delicious local food...

Day 1
Welcome presentation & evening photos
Landing in Bangkok. Welcome and presentation of the group. Evening photos from the hotel or nearby
Day 2
Bangkok street & night photography
Visit some emblematic places of the capital (temple, market ...), street photography and city photo night
Day 3
Attend the lantern festival Loy Krathong
Departure to Chiang Mai, by plane, to attend the Lantern Festival (Loy Krathong) in the best place of the country.
Day 4-6
Waterfalls and temple of the natural park of Doi Inthanon, rice fields in Chiang Mai
Lantern release for the Loy Krathong Festival, visit of the natural park of Doi Inthanon with its waterfalls and its unique temple, visit of the rice fields in the Chiang Mai area
Day 7-8
Famous White Temple at Chian Rai
Departure, by car, for Chiang Rai and its famous White Temple. Stop on the way for various points of interest.
Day 9
Fly back to Bangkok
Return to Bangkok by plane & end of program.

- Blue Lagoon Hotel: Hotel in the center of Chiang Rai, it offers a privileged access to the night market and other accommodations. Always equipped with a pool to enjoy before our return to the Swiss winter...
