Course Info
The 8-Week Photography Program covers the basics and intermediate essential photography disciplines within one month. It is aimed at students who want to study photography in a very rapid and intensive way.
The classes take place during the weekdays, usually 3 or 4 days per week. No classes in the weekend or evenings. Total of 70 classes (~200 hours).
Every workshop concludes with each student completing a personal project that reflects the genre of photography in which they have the greatest interest. Upon completion, students are equipped with a portfolio of extraordinary images, technical know-how, refined artistic awareness, and a real world understanding of the photography industry.
A certificate (recognized officially in Switzerland) will be provided to those who complete the programs successfully.
As an additional benefit, the students will have a 3 months membership included, that will allow them to attend all practice workshops for free.
Course Outline
The 8 weeks program covers the basics & intermediate level of photography, including dedicated hours in studio. The program covers:
- Good understanding of the camera settings for every situation
- Studio photography basics
- Composition rules and how to apply them in personal projects
- Understanding the characteristics of light: Size, color and direction.
- Self expression in your photography: Make yourself different vs others with extensive practice
- Photography history: Adopt the styles of 6 master photographers.
- Lightroom Classic and our recommended photography workflow
- Photoshop intermediate level
- Basics of building a photography website
- 32 hours of dedicated practice.
- Free attendance to all practice workshops during and one month after the program.
