Day 1
Arrival at the hotel, welcome presentation and breakfast.
Arrival at the hotel & check in. During a breakfast together with a welcome presentation, there is an overview of the trip with special features of Porto and a complete program overview.
Then street photography at the train station Porto Sao Bento
at and near the Mercado do Bolhão with tips on equipment, image design, behavior and photo rights.
After lunch, free time. Photographing in the old town in the late afternoon, blue hour with a tripod and early dinner.
Day 2
Full day city tour with street and landscape photography, followed by dinner and then blue hour photography at Douro River.
Travel Photography Ponte Dom Luís I , Landscape Photography Douro River, Serra do Pilar Monastery and Vila Nova de Gaia
We start the day with a breakfast together and inputs on the journey, landscape and street photography. Afterwards we photograph the landmark of the city, the 385m long half-timbered bridge Ponte Dom Luís I, on the other side, at the Serra do Pilar monastery, there is a wonderful view for landscape photography over the Douro river with all of Porto in the background. After the bridge we are already in Vila Nova de Gaia, where we go in search of the spectacular Half Rabbit and photograph a fascinating street art staircase.
Lunch in Vila Nova de Gaia with the option of visiting a port wine cellar or free time.
Blue hour photography at the Douro River followed by dinner
Day 3
Welcome training Architectural photography Casa da Musica
Cozy breakfast followed by a taxi ride to one of the architectural highlights in Porto, the House of Music by star architect Rem Koolhaas.
Lunch at Matosinhos. After lunch, free time on the beach. Street photography in Matosinhos, photographing the art installation She Changes.
Return journey to the hotel, dinner together and possibility of attending a fado concert.
Day 4
Visit of Livraria Lello
Old town photography with the tower Igreja dos Clérigos, the cathedral of Porto and the most beautiful square of Porto, the Largo da Pena Ventosa
Lunch together, then free time.
Transfer back from the hotel to the airport in the late afternoon.
