Bernard Menettrier de Jollin

Bernard is a commercial portrait photographer based in Lausanne, enjoying studio, outdoor and street photography, with a passion for making his subjects look at their best. Whether in studio, capturing headshots to give his clients the best possible image for their communication, or in the streets, hunting these faces that tell the story of a well-lived life, he cannot imagine anything more appealing than creating a portrait.

Over the past decade, he learnt from, and worked with the best travel, street and portrait photographers in the world, integrating these learnings into his own practice and style.

Bernard’s work was exhibited in Europe, Americas and Asia, and recognized with a couple of international awards, giving him the energy to keep learning, practicing and improving his photography.

Born in France, Bernard moved to Switzerland in 1989, then to the Middle East in 2009. He fluently speaks French, German and English. Back from Dubai in 2018, he settled back in Lausanne.
