Osan left his corporate career in 2013 to follow his passion of photography. After graduating from New York Film Academy, he founded Swiss Photo Club to share his passion and create a community. He is specialised in Portraits, Events, Wedding and landscape photography. He is also a certified Adobe Photoshop instructor.
 Osan continuously strives to create a personal connection with his subjects, to add that personal spark to each photo. His teaching style is crisp, to the point, and focused on getting the participant practice what she/he learned.

Bernard is a commercial portrait photographer based in Lausanne, enjoying studio, outdoor and street photography, with a passion for making his subjects look at their best. Whether in studio, capturing headshots to give his clients the best possible image for their communication, or in the streets, hunting these faces that tell the story of a well-lived life, he cannot imagine anything more appealing than creating a portrait. Over the past decade, he learnt from, and worked with the best travel, street and portrait photographers in the world, integrating these learnings into his own practice and style. Bernard’s work was exhibited in Europe, Americas and Asia, and recognized with a couple of international awards, giving him the energy to keep learning, practicing and improving his photography. Born in France, Bernard moved to Switzerland in 1989, then to the Middle East in 2009. He fluently speaks French, German and English. Back from Dubai in 2018, he settled back in Lausanne.

Julia is Ukrainian-born photographer living in La Côte region, Switzerland. After she left her native Kiev, she lived in France, Switzerland, Great Britain, Japan and the Philippines. She has degrees in Economics and Marketing that helped her to have a successful international marketing career for 15 years which she happily changed for photography in 2014. Being nearly totally self-taught, she relies a lot on her advertising and marketing experience when constructing an image. Julia loves photography as a whole and will always bring something personal whether it’s a business portrait or a famous landmark. Her strength is her creative approach combined with true emotions. Julia’s most famous images come from her travel, wildlife and creative portraiture having won international awards and being published internationally. Julia’s commercial specialization is in portrait, editorial/fashion and architecture. Julia is a regular contributor to the PhotoVogue site of Vogue Italia. After winning the SPC Photo Awards jury prize in spring 2017, Julia joined Swiss Photo Club to share her passion and she is very much looking forward to welcome you into one of the many classes she’s teaching.

Born in Le Locle in 1971, Christian Bromley is from Ponte Tresa, from an Italo-Swiss mother and a Pied-noir father. He spent his childhood tossed about by his parents between art and culture, then flourished in sport, notably athletics, boxing and climbing. At the age of sixteen, he received from the hands of his father, himself a photographer, his first camera; a ZENIT. It was then that his true passion was born: photography. It therefore becomes a second life, a new area that he will explore brilliantly. A graduate in civil engineering and reinforced concrete, a field in which he would never work, and steeped in a natural and insatiable curiosity, he embarked on a new adventure and turned to the IT field. A passionate autodidact, he mastered this complex field and created his own company. In the basement of this one, he set up his first photography studio, thus allowing the expression of his first passion. He learns alone, tests, experiments, touches on the macro, the portrait then the artistic nude. This last area then becomes a revelation for him. Christian thus discovers the magic of revealing the beauty of a body thanks to a subtly studied play of shadows and lights. He then devoted himself exclusively to his art, opened a new studio and thus made his passion his job. To date, he has assembled a team of professional hairdressers and make-up artists and considerably expanded his photographic fields. Olivier Riethauser founded High5 Prod in 2012, an independent audiovisual production company based in Geneva, active in the field of events, adventure and aerial photography. Over time, the drone naturally interfered in various projects to finally become an essential tool, both in terms of photography and video. In November 2019, Olivier published "Geneva in the eye of the drone" with Editions Slatkine, a 232-page book, 170 photos and 35 QR code videos. A big success in bookstores which “allows you to rediscover the canton from an unusual angle” according to La Tribune de Genève.

András is a self-taught freelance photographer specializing in food, events, and product photography. With varied work experiences under his belt and a keen interest in entrepreneurship, marketing, and branding, he uses photography as a creative outlet as well as a tool for engagement and communication. András’ result-driven approach to photography uses all available tools at the disposal of the modern-day photographer. It’s that approach he shares in the Beginners Photography and Lightroom Courses. He is fluent in English, French and an expert in event, corporate and food photography.

Catherine started her career in advertising in London and after a few years transitioned to the creative side in order to pursue her love of photography. She studied a postgraduate course at the London College of Printing and has worked in photography since. She has worked primarily in corporate photography in London but also with the Royal Horticultural Society in England documenting their seed collection and adding images to their botanical library –&nbsp;<a href="http://www.flowerphotos.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: var(--link_color);">see image here</a>. Now Catherine loves working with small businesses creating still life images and portraits. She also loves teaching photography- sharing her enthusiasm and passion for finding ways to express your interpretation of the world.

Freelance photographer based in the Fribourg region, born in a city near Barcelona. Fascinated by travel, music, cinema, art and photography, she studied at the renowned Institut d'Estudis Fotografics de Catalunya in Barcelona.Highly sensitive with a touch of madness, dynamic, smiling and very sociable. Former collaborator of ELLE, Tocado and Cosmowellness magazine, she starts from a photojournalistic approach and seizes these small and important moments which make the difference between simple photos and a real report, in order to render elegant, timeless images, full of emotions.Photography teacher since 2008 (Fotoespai School of Photography in Barcelona, ​​Center de Cultura de la Dona Francesca Bonnemaison in Barcelona, ​​CC Can Borrell and CC L'Era in Mollet del Vallés, CC de Canovelles, CC Can Butjosa in Parets del Vallès and Masia Can Carrancà in Martorelles, as well as for private lessons). James’s love of film and photography started when he moved to the Alps in the winter of 2007. “I bought a cheap video camera and skied with it in my pocket for the season”. Following a few years making films of his adventures in the mountains James decided to take things more seriously “I signed up for video production courses, documentary making and lighting workshops, this education boosted my skills and most importantly my self confidence that led to my first paid work”.Since 2016 James has been making a living as a professional photographer specializing in travel, sports, property and events. Most recently he has turned his attention towards the professional market here in Geneva, using our studio to shoot his professional headshots and working with NGOs and charities supporting their humanitarian work. “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to share my knowledge with others, and also to see what I can learn from the creativity and talent that each of you has within you”

Carla is a Director and Art Director. With a Bachelor’s degree in AD at CREA Geneva, she started her career in the industry as a VFX Artist in London in a production agency. Back to Switzerland she starts working as a Director and works with several agencies before launching as Freelancer.She then created a small creative studio for freelancers. "Born in Florence (ITALY) in 1981, Riccardo has been passionate about science, physics and photography since childhood. His father taught him how to use an old-fashioned film camera, and since then Riccardo has never stopped applying his creativity to his images and which he takes along as a second camera on his travels, because the charm of analog photography always stays with him. In 2017, Riccardo had the innovative idea of creating the first photography school based on Silversea's luxury cruise ships, sailing the polar regions of the Arctic and Antarctic. He has designed and run courses in collaboration with specialist photographers in polar regions such as the Antarctic Peninsula, the Arctic Circle and South Georgia. In addition, he has shared unique photographic experiences in non-polar destinations such as South Africa, Europe and the USA. His photographic experience extends to unusual conditions, reflecting his spirit of safe adventure. He also shares his passion for the pursuit of good food and conviviality around a table with good friends, which is one of his strengths.

I am a portrait photographer based near Geneva. Over the last 12 years I have worked with many women - and those they love - to create unique portraits that capture them at every stage of their lives. Serving Suisse Romande and beyond, I provide my clients with an unforgettable photography experience filled with a sense of elegance, pampering and fun. My style is influenced by fashion photographers such as Peter Lindbergh, Mario Testino and Annie Liebovitz. Dai was born in Vietnam and lived with her family in Germany, where she grew up. In 2000, she moved to Switzerland, where she studied &amp; subsequently worked for five years as a teacher in Lausanne. So, she speaks German, French, English and Vietnamese. Following the birth of her son, Dai decided to follow her passion. Thus, the young mother founded and today continues to run her own Dai Bui Photography. By nature, creative and meticulous, she has specialized in emotional portraiture and Fine Art (family - children - seniors - ballet - maternity)					Dai believes in lifelong learning and she loves taking on challenges. From 2015 to the present, she has won a lot of international awards, prizes and publications. Even though Dai may have fulfilled a dream, her desire to seek perfection pushes her continually to broaden her already diverse knowledge.&nbsp;

Francesco is an eclectic human being whose experience ranges from chemistry and physics to photojournalism and documentary photography, data science to public health. Still, he only feel complete with a camera in his hand and a story to tell. Holding an MA in Documentary Photography and Photojournalism from the University of the Arts, London, he is deeply engaged in teaching and sharing his passion for photography. His passions are street and documentary photography, travel photography, photo editing and storytelling, and drone photography. Fascinated by human beings, his photographic and artistic research lies at the intersection among memory, identity, grief and health inequalities. He is currently working on two main project lines: Syndemia, focusing on health inequalities in the LGBTQ+ community, and Unlike Flowers, She won’t come back with Spring, focusing on the recovery of the memory of his deceased mother. He is deep in love with Edinburgh, rivers, photo archives, Lady Gaga and Pad Thai.

Darren began taking photographs in the early 1980’s and printing in a makeshift darkroom at home. He went onto study photography, firstly on an art and design foundation course, before graduating with a degree in Photographic Studies in 1992 and an MSc in Film Production in 1994.&nbsp;Photographing both landscape and portraiture using digital and large format film, his images are characterised by a high level of compositional and technical accomplishment.&nbsp;&nbsp;Based in Morocco, Darren explores the region for project related work. Darren first visited Morocco in 1991 to make a student film and take photographs in the Anti-Atlas Mountains. He returned in 1993 again for a student project, this time to Essaouira.&nbsp;During the 1990’s he made several visits to the town, making a documentary on an Englishwoman’s adventure with Gnawa music.&nbsp; Darren is also qualified lecturer with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and has several years experience planning and delivering courses in the UK.&nbsp;&nbsp;He is a passionate photographic educator, collaborating with Swiss Photo Club since 2022.&nbsp;

Kristian Dill currently spends most of his time working on portraiture, fashion and artistic or contemporary nudes. He also leads photo workshops for all levels. According to the mandates of his clients, he also works on lifestyle, wedding reporting as well as aquatic photography, mixing these different disciplines in a creative way and off the beaten track. Also professional in product, industrial and architectural photography, he is able to image all communication media to promote the company of his clients. He began photography as a teenager with his father's old medium-format. After acquiring his first reflex with his first salary, he quickly spent most of his leisure time photographing everything around him, developing and printing his black &amp; whites himself in his bathroom. Since 2011, he has specialized in studio portrait photography, as well as fashion photography and artistic nudes. Kristian became a freelance professional photographer in 2014, and remains based in Switzerland where he created a photo studio: "Le Studyo K", located in the Neuchâtel region.

Passionate about nature and alpine landscapes, Daniel Calatayud is a Spanish photographer based in La-Tour-de-Peilz. His specialty is to highlight the spaces that surround his eyes and his approach to the places that he transforms into images. After obtaining a degree in artistic photography in Valencia (Spain), Daniel has worked itinerantly between the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, in Greece and Indonesia, before settling definitively by Geneva's lake shores. He is an expert in landscape photography and a real estate photography pro. He is a creative photographer who uses very creative photographic resources such as HDR, panoramic photography, and taking photos with optical filters. For this photographer the best way to show the images is in physical support, he knows also very well printing techniques, even in the past he developed a project of portraits in Bichromated Gum. Daniel teaches photography in English, French, Spanish and Catalan.

For more than ten years, Hamda Kort photographed landscapes, cityscapes and faces with passion. From the studio to the edge of a cliff, he put his knowledge into practice to make his best shots. Autodidact and perfectionist, he doesn’t look at the clock when it comes to make an image that is worth it.

Peter Coulson, known as the modern age black-and-white master of Photography, specializes in the genres of beauty, fashion and fetish. His images are recognised and well known for their sensual, mysterious &amp; elegant feel; always with a twist of his screwed up sense of humour. He has worked commercially as a Photographer for over 15 years. Coulson lives and breathes photography; 1/3 commercial, 1/3 educational, 1/3 shooting what he loves – 24/7. I was born in Italy and had the luck to live in sone of its most beautiful cities: Rome, Venice, Florence and Milan. My official job is civil engineering, beside it I always cultivated my love for all forms of art. I studied acting in Milan and participated in several&nbsp;TV commercials and theater shows… till I found the true art form in photography thanks to Swissphotoclub. I live in Switzerland for 14 years with my family and it was in Zurich, that I picked up an old Reflex camera, felt in love with it and started taking my first courses…. Since then&nbsp;I haven't stopped. More courses, workshops, photo trips until the first direct contacts from agencies that have engaged me for advertising and marketing photos. The beauty! Photography has allowed me to see it everywhere, frequently in the most unexpected places. I walk the streets always with a camera looking for moments to steal, looking for beauty. I love Streetphotography, in all its forms: the minimalism in the geometries of a street, the reflections, the lights and shadows, the details but also the stories that the street can tell us.

Hi, I’m Karolina - I capture Love &amp; Light.&nbsp;I’m a family photographer based in Geneva and my specialty is candid photos in beautiful outdoor settings.&nbsp;I am a psychologist by education and a traveller at heart.&nbsp;I come from Poland, but lived in Norway, Canada, UK, and now Switzerland. Before turning my passion into a career I had a corporate job in Communications and Research, which pays off in heaps in running my own business.&nbsp;I am inspired by nature, the human experience and travels.&nbsp;

Living in the countryside, far from the noise and hustle of the cities, I've been exploring and getting toknow nature, which is so dear to me, since childhood. However, it wasn't until much later, at the ageof 27, that I would put my eye behind a camera for the first time with a precise goal in mind. Sensitiveto the cause of Swiss nature and wildlife, my aim was to capture a glimpse of it in my photos. This isto show people the local biodiversity we have in Switzerland and why it's important to respect,preserve and protect it. To this end, I practice photography with the utmost ethics and respect fornature.

Light flows. It permeates, it runs, it evaporates, it shapes everything and fillsevery available space. I have always marveled at the way light plays on everything it touches.For me, the art of photography is not to see the world through the camera lens. It is to see, in my mind’s eye, the final image once it has been processed by the many optical, mechanical and electronic components of the camera. The difference is huge. My challenge is to capture light’s fluidity and ephemeral quality to render my idea of that particular instant. My photos show my vision of the world as it is constantly shaped andendlessly transformed by light.

I was born in Geneva in 1972. I am a passionate photographer for over twenty-five years, I work in the studio (portraits, family, beauty, corporate, products, etc.), covering events (artistic, cultural, sporting, etc.) and reporting for the press. A trained psychiatrist and self-taught independent photographer, i live near Annecy in France.&nbsp;It was through my curiosity for the universe and its mysteries that I entered the world of photography. Chris Knight was born in Wiesbaden, Germany and hardened by the sweaty, nearly chewable, humidity of Florida. He combines his unconditional love of art history with his conditional love of technology, topping it off with a flair for the cinematic and an uncompromising eye for detail.His work has appeared in or on Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, L Official, GQ,&nbsp;People, MSNBC, ABC, Oxygen, Ocean Drive, and others.Chris is the author of The Dramatic Portrait, a Profoto Legend of Light, Fujifilm Creator, and an instructor at Pratt Institute as well as the New York Film Academy.

Nath-Sakura (Nathalie Balsan-Duverneuil) was born on November 21, 1971 in Girona, Spain. A graduate of modern literature and philosophy from the Université Paul-Valéry in Montpellier, she went on to work as a photojournalist for several newspapers and magazines in Europe and France.To date, she has published 13 collections of photographs and exhibited all over the world (from Hong Kong to Hollywood and from Barcelona to London).She is currently a fashion and advertising The British-born, New York-based photographer Phil Penman has documented the ever-changing scene of New York City’s streets for more than 25 years. In his career as a news and magazine photographer, with a large body of work in such publications as The Guardian, The Independent, The New York Review of Books, among others, he has photographed major public figures and historical events. In particular, his reportage following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center has featured on NBC’s Today show, as well as on the BBC, History Channel, and Al Jazeera, and his images have been included in the 9/11 Memorial and Museum’s archives.His work covering the pandemic lockdown in New York City has been acquired by the U.S. Library of Congress, whose collection holds work by such great Depression-era documentarians as Walker Evans and Dorothea Lange. Besides showing at Leica galleries in New York, Washington, D.C., Boston, and London, Penman’s signature street photography has appeared in international exhibitions as far afield as Venice, Berlin, and Sydney.He also tours the world teaching workshops on photography for Leica Akademie. Born in Switzerland in 1973, Adrien Barakat obtained a master degree of architecture in 1999 and practiced this profession during over 10 years in Switzerland and in the USA. His experience during these years helped him develop a critical eye, an understanding of space and a special attention to detail. After working as an architect and a photographer during 3 years, he decided to fully dedicate his professional career to architectural photography in 2013 with clients connected to architecture, design and art. His photographs are published in Switzerland and worldwide and are regularly awarded with international photography contests. He gives architectural photography workshops since 2015 in partnership with Nikon and also gives lectures in architecture offices and schools. Furthermore he collaborates with Nikon Japan since 2016 to promote new specific equipment for architectural photography. His photographs have been exhibited in New York, Beijing, London, Berlin, Zurich, Bern and Geneva.

As the Marketing Director for Swiss Photo Club, Joan brings a wealth of international business expertise to the SPC Academy. Her background includes managing large-scale marketing projects for some of the most iconic names in American retail, bolstered by an MBA and a deep understanding of brand growth. Based in Switzerland since 2018, Joan now leads the marketing modules of the Business of Photography course, where she empowers photographers to transform their passion into a professional brand, fusing their artistic vision with commercial strategy.

My professional practice focuses mainly on portraiture, with a secondary emphasis on complete light control with studio object photography. Coming from a creative Waldorf school education, I completed my CFC in photography at the Centre d'Enseignement Professionnel de Vevey in 2024 and am currently pursuing more artistically-oriented studies in higher education in visual communication, with a specialization inphotography. During these studies, I took part in numerous workshops with internationally renowned artists (R. Riedler, L. Abril, V. Levrat, B. Depoorter, A. Cepeda, S. Couzinet-Jacques, L. Chaplin, R. Petersen, A. Golaz, F. Rothenberger, E. Brotherus, A. Vaz, Y. Gross, G. Goiris, P. Piguet). My artistic work reflects a particular sensitivity to Western social mores, the psyche and the links between humans and their environment. I explore this last theme in my first project, En quête de symbiose, which invites us to gentleness, contemplation andreconnection with nature, by illustrating the experience of naked people in a natural space free of any cultural markers. My working values are caring, tenacity, listening and goodwill.

Claudio is a freelance photographer based in Geneva. He has been enthusiast discovering the world of photography since he was a child, and even time-consuming studies and personal obstacles could not suppress Claudio’s passion for photography.Since ten years he has made this skill a profession and a way of life, capturing the beauty which lies all around us everywhere, every day.Claudio identifies himself professionally with a quote from William Faulkner: “The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life.”

George Mayer is an acclaimed photographer and designer known for his compelling black-and-white imagery and innovative approach to portraiture. Born in Nizhny Tagil, Russia, in 1985, he graduated with honors in Environmental Design from the Ural College of Arts and Crafts in 2004. Following his studies, Mayer worked as an interior designer, earning recognition in national architecture and design competitions, with his work published by esteemed publishers such as Tatlin and UniverPress.Transitioning to photography in 2007, Mayer quickly made a mark by participating in international competitions, including the Photography Masters Cup and The Spider Awards. In 2011, he won the Russian photo contest Young Photographers of Russia, leading to exhibitions in Kazan, Moscow, and at the international art festival in Marsciano, Italy. That same year, he secured the title of Photographer of the Year at The Spider Awards (USA) for Outstanding Achievements in Black-and-White Photography.Mayer's project "Shadows" earned him the Photographer of the Year award at the International Photography Awards, with the ceremony held at Carnegie Hall in New York City. In 2017, his series "Light. Shadows. Patrick Delieutraz est tombé dans la photo depuis son adolescence, il a commencé par effectuer des tirages N&amp;B dans le labo d’une MJC, avant de s’acheter un Nikon EM. Installé en Haute-Savoie depuis plus de quinze dans son atelier d’impression photographique, il imprime pour de nombreux photographes Français, Suisse et même Québécois ! C’est aussi un photographe spécialisé dans la photo de paysage et animalière. Il publie dans des revues comme Geo France, nat’images ou encore Paris match et a sorti deux livres, un beau livre photo sur la Norvège et un guide nature sur la Norvège aux éditions Glénat. Ses photos sont représentées par l’agence Naturagency. Il accompagne chaque année des voyages photos en Norvège et aux canaries. Patrick aime aussi partager ses photos à travers des expositions principalement en festival.

Giuseppe est un photographe indépendant basé à Genève. Né à Genève et de nationalité italienne, il découvre la photographie à l’âge de quinze ans en Italie, lorsque son oncle lui offre son tout premier appareil, un Yashica. Ce moment fondateur marque le début d’une passion durable pour l’image et la narration visuelle. Footballeur pendant plus de vingt ans, Giuseppe se spécialise naturellement dans la photographie sportive, couvrant des disciplines telles que le football, le hockey, la natation ou encore la boxe. Sa parfaite connaissance du monde du sport lui permet d’anticiper l’action et de comprendre l’athlète au-delà de la performance. At age 17, I was already helping manage the darkroom facilities at my high school. It was there where I learned film photography and developed my own prints. Understanding the relationship of light and chemistry by trial and error. Experimenting with manual techniques. All while cultivating a personal and conceptual approach to image-making.&nbsp;Fast forward to today, I specialize in photographing people. Whether in a studio environment or on location with available light, I take every situation as a creative exercise that must include the exacting technicality of capture and deep understanding of the subject.&nbsp;Sharing my passions is a core value and my approach to teaching is identical to my approach to photography work: striving for best practices all while centering the human experience first.

I am a photographer based in Geneva, working in portrait and sports photography.
