What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Booking a course and making payment

Please note that you don’t need to create an account to book a course on our website. We only ask to fill in necessary details like: your name, email address and telephone number.

Booking a course is straightforward, secure and only takes a second. After clicking ‘Sign up’ you will be taken to Order Summary page where you can choose to pay by debit or credit card, bank money transfer or gift voucher.

All card transactions are processed securely by Stripe or Checkout.

During and after the transaction we don’t store customers bank account details or credit card numbers. Our customers don’t need to worry that any of their financial information could be exposed online or in public.

What we collect

We may collect the following information during course registration or when you use a contact form:

  • your first and last name,
  • contact information including telephone number and email address,
  • demographic information such as address, postcode, preferences and interests,
  • other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers,
  • course testimonials and customers feedback,
  • photographs of course attendees and photographs taken by course attendees.

Please note that we do not collect or store customers bank account details or credit card numbers.

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • internal record keeping,
  • we may use the information to improve our courses, web pages, products and services,
  • we may periodically send promotional emails about new courses, products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided,
  • from time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone or mail. We may use this information to customise the website according to your interests.
