Combine your passions for travel and photography in an unforgettable weekend only 3 hours away! Join us to discover beautiful Grimentz and the neighboring Moiry Dam. Practice multiple genres of photography in a fun group, get personalized advice, and come back with stunning photos.

Location
Where do we go?
Located in canton Valais, gorgeous Grimentz lies at 1620m in the Val d’Annivers in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. Diving into the atmosphere of the (g)olden days becomes quite easy here: centuries-old buildings, narrow alleys and cultural heritage abu panoramic views and breathtaking landscapes. This is the perfect spot to forget about hectic life and completely focus on photography.
You will improve your landscape photography skills at nearby Moiry Lake and Dam and will enjoy panoramic views from Bendolla.
Arrive at your destination by car (parking spots available) or public transport (train + bus). We will send you detailed instructions about how to get there in your welcome information once you sign up for the trip.

Day 1
Arrival, village tour, welcome dinner, refresher course for beginners
During the first day, you will practice photographing the village with its people and architecture. After dinner, there will be a night photography workshop to practice astro photography, light painting and of course long exposures.
Day 2
Moiry Dam & Lake hike, night photography or editing
On the second day, we will enjoy a beautiful hike in the nature around the Moiry Lake and Dam. We will also have plenty of opportunity to practice outdoor portraits before our lunch picnic by the lake. Afterwards, we will return to the village on time for dinner. After dinner, depending on the weather, there will be either a night photography session or a selection & editing session, where you can improve your photos with the help and guidance of our instructors.
Day 3
Breakfast, Photo review & Feedback
On the third day, after breakfast, we will review your photos and provide personalized feedback. We will leave the chalet around 11am.
Accommodation
Where do we stay?
You will be accommodated in the cozy, modern chalets of Swiss Escape, which are fully equipped with kitchens, bathrooms and an open lounge area. Breakfast and snacks are included.
With optional private or double rooms, you can either enjoy complete silence and privacy after a great shooting day or share the experience with your partner or friend in a double room (2 ppl). There are limited numbers of both, so better pick quickly 😉

- Fully loaded program of photography practice with our instructors during the whole weekend

Osan Altun

Osan left his corporate career in 2013 to follow his passion of photography. After graduating from New York Film Academy, he founded Swiss Photo Club to share his passion and create a community.
He is specialised in Studio, Portraits, Events, Wedding and landscape photography. He is also a certified Adobe Photoshop instructor.
Osan continuously strives to create a personal connection with his subjects, to add that personal spark to each photo. His teaching style is crisp, to the point, and focused on getting the participant practice what she/he learned.
