We will meet at the hotel at 19h in the bar of the London Premier Inn in County Hall.&nbsp;Flights from Geneva to London Gatwick or London Heathrow are best.&nbsp;From Gatwick take the train to Clapham Junction and change for a train to Waterloo station.&nbsp;From Heathrow take the underground train to Piccadilly Circus and change to Waterloo station.&nbsp;The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Waterloo station.&nbsp;&nbsp;Allow 1 hour for transport from airports to hotel. We have a drink at the bar and have a light supper and briefing in the hotel as we will have an early start the next morning

We will meet in the reception early and head straight to Big Ben to take pictures of the iconic Waterloo Bridge and Big Ben.&nbsp;As the sun rises the clock tower glows golden and it is a perfect opportunity to take some long exposure images.&nbsp;&nbsp;We will shoot along the south bank and then slowly make our way across the bridge shooting on our way to the north side and the houses of parliament.&nbsp;&nbsp;We will stop near Horse guards for a cup of coffee and breakfast.&nbsp;At 1030 we will go to Horse guards to capture some images of the changing of the Kings guards.&nbsp;This is an historic moment of the Kings guards marching down the Mall towards Buckingham Palace.&nbsp;This will be a great opportunity to use long lenses to capture the marching guards, horses, people street photography practice in every sense. We will head down towards Borough market for lunch.&nbsp;Borough market is a vibrant lively market on the south side of the river.&nbsp;&nbsp;We will have a leisurely lunch and soak up the atmosphere of the market. In the afternoon we will head along the river crossing from south to north taking images of the iconic buildings and skyline.&nbsp;We will head to Tower Bridge for the early evening lighting up and spend a couple of hours capturing the beauty of the bridge.&nbsp;&nbsp;We will head to a classic pub for dinner.

Nous nous retrouverons tôt à la réception et nous nous dirigerons directement vers Big Ben pour prendre des photos de l'emblématique pont de Waterloo et de Big Ben. Lorsque le soleil se lève, la tour de l'horloge prend une teinte dorée et c'est l'occasion idéale de prendre des photos en pose longue.&nbsp;Nous prendrons des photos le long de la rive sud, puis nous traverserons lentement le pont en prenant des photos du côté nord et des chambres du parlement.&nbsp;Nous nous arrêterons près de Horse Guards pour une tasse de café et un petit déjeuner. À 10h30, nous nous rendrons à Horse Guards pour capturer quelques images de la relève de la garde royale. Il s'agit d'un moment historique au cours duquel les gardes royaux descendent le Mall en direction de Buckingham Palace. Ce sera l'occasion d'utiliser de longs objectifs pour capturer les gardes qui défilent, les chevaux, les gens et de pratiquer la photographie de rue dans tous les sens du terme. Nous nous dirigerons vers le marché de Borough pour le déjeuner. Le marché de Borough est un marché animé sur la rive sud de la rivière.&nbsp;Nous déjeunerons tranquillement et nous nous imprégnerons de l'atmosphère du marché.

After a traditional English Breakfast at the hotel- we will walk along the south bank to StPauls and capture the view from the Millennium Bridge. We will cross the Bridge to thenorth side and head up into the City – looking for some iconic shots of the views from thenorth side of the river. The buildings, patterns, shadows and shapes of the City of Londonare a photographers dream with endless opportunities for wonderful compositions. We willhave lunch in an old-fashioned pie house in the city and visit “the Garden at 120” for anamazing skyline view of the City of London. It is possible to take pictures from here withtripods. We will head back to the hotel for a 17h finish for people to leave to go back to theairport.

Après un petit déjeuner anglais traditionnel à l'hôtel, nous marcherons le long de la rive sud jusqu'à St.Pauls et admirer la vue depuis le Millennium Bridge. Nous traverserons le pont vers le nord et nous nous dirigerons vers la ville, à la recherche de photos emblématiques des vues de la rive nord de la rive nord du fleuve. Les bâtiments, les motifs, les ombres et les formes de la ville de Londres sont un rêve pour les photographes et offrent d'innombrables possibilités de compositions merveilleuses. A unique guided trip to London to capture the city’s iconic buildings, skylines and people.&nbsp;We’ll focus on classic London scenes ranging from red buses and black cabs to the changing of the King’s Guard at Buckingham Palace

During this photography trip we will focus on capturing the essence of London’s skyline and famous buildings. St Paul’s Cathedral was built in 1675 by Christopher Wren and dominates the city skyline.&nbsp;&nbsp;Surrounded by magnificent new buildings such as the Shard, the Gherkin and the London Eye, the skyline offers a fabulous contrast of styles.&nbsp;We will capture the Dawn at Big Ben and Dusk at Tower Bridge.&nbsp;We’ll spend time on long exposures to capture the river Thames, juxtaposed with the beautiful architecture.&nbsp;Along the way we will photograph famous icons of London – red buses, black taxis, telephone boxes.

We will stay at the London Premier Inn which is a Grade II listed County Hall on London’s South Bank, next to the London Eye.&nbsp;The hotel is very central and allows easy access to the central iconic landmarks.&nbsp;Rooms can be booked as double occupancy or single.&nbsp;

Catherine started her career in advertising in London and after a few years transitioned to the creative side in order to pursue her love of photography. She studied a postgraduate course at the London College of Printing and has worked in photography since. She has worked primarily in corporate photography in London but also with the Royal Horticultural Society in England documenting their seed collection and adding images to their botanical library –&nbsp;<a href="http://www.flowerphotos.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="color: var(--link_color);">see image here</a>. Now Catherine loves working with small businesses creating still life images and portraits. She also loves teaching photography- sharing her enthusiasm and passion for finding ways to express your interpretation of the world.
