Sonia Villegas

Freelance photographer based in the Fribourg region, born in a city near Barcelona. Fascinated by travel, music, cinema, art and photography, she studied at the renowned Institut d'Estudis Fotografics de Catalunya in Barcelona.

Highly sensitive with a touch of madness, dynamic, smiling and very sociable. Former collaborator of ELLE, Tocado and Cosmowellness magazine, she starts from a photojournalistic approach and seizes these small and important moments which make the difference between simple photos and a real report, in order to render elegant, timeless images, full of emotions.

Photography teacher since 2008 (Fotoespai School of Photography in Barcelona, ​​Center de Cultura de la Dona Francesca Bonnemaison in Barcelona, ​​CC Can Borrell and CC L'Era in Mollet del Vallés, CC de Canovelles, CC Can Butjosa in Parets del Vallès and Masia Can Carrancà in Martorelles, as well as for private lessons).
